Meet the passionate individuals behind the scenes dedicated to shaping not only exceptional basketball players but also outstanding individuals in every aspect of their lives.

COACH / FOUNDER
JOHN HARRIS JR.
With a rich background in basketball and a passion for youth development, Coach Harris brings a unique blend of experience, expertise, and personal dedication to Prime Basketball Club.
Before launching Prime Basketball Club in 2023, Harris had the opportunity to serve as a graduate assistant for the Nebraska Huskers basketball program under coach Fred Hoiberg. During his time, he was involved in the day-to-day operations of the program from working out players to assisting in game day preparations with the scout team. It was during this period that he also pursued his passion for education, earning his master’s degree in youth development.

Before returning to his roots in Nebraska in 2019, Harris called Kansas City home where he dedicated two years to assisting with the MOKAN AAU Basketball program while also delving into personal training. Harris' collegiate journey began at Benedictine College, where he not only earned his undergraduate degree but also left a lasting mark on the court. Throughout his four years, he showcased his skills earning All-Heart of America Conference honors three times and demonstrating exceptional versatility with 1,282 career points, 412 assists, and 114 steals.

Harris' achievements extended beyond the collegiate realm. In high school at Lincoln High, he earned accolades such as All-City honors and second-team Class A all-state honors cementing his reputation as a talented player both on and off the court.
Outside of basketball, Harris is an avid traveler and food enthusiast. He enjoys exploring new cultures, trying different cuisines, and spending time with his dog, Max. Additionally, Harris leads a weekly Bible study with friends.

COACH
JAMIE DAVIS
Jamie Davis is a dedicated coach and community advocate committed to guiding young athletes both on and off the basketball court.
Born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Davis was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska where he attended Lakeview Elementary, Park Middle School, and Lincoln High School. He went on to pursue higher education at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado and Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado where he showed his athletic talents on the Plainsman basketball team.
During his college years, Coach Davis honed his skills on the court, gaining valuable experience in teamwork, discipline, and leadership.

After completing his studies in Colorado, Davis returned to Lincoln, where he discovered his love for coaching and community engagement. Over the years, he's become deeply involved in mentoring young athletes, fostering personal growth, and instilling important values. Davis' coaching philosophy extends beyond sports skills, emphasizing character development and life lessons. Additionally, he thrives on meeting new families and athletes, finding joy in seeing kids smile as they showcase their hard work and progress.

In addition to his coaching endeavors, Davis is actively involved with the Autism Center of Nebraska (ACN), where he has dedicated his time and expertise for over three years.
​
Outside of his professional commitments, Davis finds joy in playing video games, traveling to new destinations, and exploring and savoring diverse culinary experiences.

COACH
Kaleb Stewart
Kaleb Stewart is a dynamic guard and high-level athlete who brings elite playing experience and a deep understanding of the game to Prime Basketball Club. Known for his scoring ability, basketball IQ, and leadership, Stewart is passionate about helping young athletes develop both on and off the court.
​
A senior at the University of South Dakota, Stewart earned Preseason All-Summit League First Team honors and made 19 starts during the 2024–25 season. He averaged 9.8 points per game while knocking down a team-high 54 three-pointers and delivering multiple standout performances, including two 26-point games. His ability to score at all three levels and impact the game offensively makes him a strong mentor for developing players.
In his first season at South Dakota (2023–24), Stewart made an immediate impact, averaging 15.6 points per game—ranking seventh in the Summit League—and earning All-Summit honorable mention and All-Newcomer Team honors. He recorded 22 double-digit scoring performances and delivered a historic 44-point game, one of the highest single-game scoring performances in program history.

Prior to South Dakota, Stewart played at Louisiana Tech, where he was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team and helped lead the Bulldogs to a 24–10 record and an NIT Final Four appearance. His early collegiate success laid the foundation for his continued growth as a complete player.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Stewart attended Atascocita High School, where he was a four-time First Team All-District selection, three-time District MVP, and surpassed 2,000 career points. He was also ranked among the top players in the state of Texas and recognized as a Guy V. Lewis Award finalist.
Off the court, Stewart is pursuing a degree in Media & Journalism and brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to both basketball and life. His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, confidence, and teaching players how to think the game—aligning with Prime’s mission of building complete athletes and strong individuals.

Lead Trainer
Jamaane Jordan
Jamaane Jordan serves as the Lead Trainer for Prime Basketball Club, bringing extensive experience in player development and a proven track record of helping athletes reach the next level. Known for his attention to detail, high-energy training style, and ability to connect with players, Jordan plays a key role in shaping the skill development foundation across the program.
Currently, Jordan is the Boys JV Head Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at Lincoln Northwest High School, where he continues to develop athletes in a competitive high school environment. His experience at the varsity level allows him to translate real-game expectations directly into training.
From 2022 to 2025, Jordan served as a head coach for multiple 16U and 17U boys and girls teams, working with high-level athletes and preparing them for the next stages of their basketball careers. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, he coached and assisted with multiple local middle school and high school club teams while also leading impactful community programs, including the F Street Community Center summer league, Belmont Recreation Center after-school program, and various YMCA camps and academies.
A Lincoln native, Jordan graduated from Lincoln North Star High School and went on to play college basketball at York College and Doane University. His playing background, combined with years of hands-on training experience, gives him a unique ability to teach the game from both a player and coach perspective.
Jordan has trained athletes who have gone on to play at the collegiate level and professionally overseas. As Lead Trainer, his focus is on building complete players—emphasizing skill development, basketball IQ, consistency, and confidence—while aligning with Prime Basketball Club’s mission of long-term athlete development.
